In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Shepherd Pirates softball team scored a nice 9-1 win over the Diboll Lumberjacks.

Coming up next, the Pirates encounter the East Bernard Brahmas (East Bernard, TX) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, May 11. Shepherd will attempt to upgrade on its 20-4 season record. The Brahmas enter the outing with a 29-5 record after their 7-2 non-league win over Kountze (Kountze, TX).
