Texas High School Softball - East Central nudges Dripping Springs

May 6, 2023: Dripping Springs, TX 78620

East Central Hornets (San Antonio, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Dripping Springs Tigers (Dripping Springs, TX), 6-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Hornets now own a 22-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Round Rock for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 13. East Central will face a Dragons squad coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Clemens (Schertz, TX). The Dragons record now stands at 22-9.

With the loss, Dripping Springs falls to 32-9 on the campaign.

This game is a part of the 2023 UIL Texas Softball State Championships - 2023 Softball 6A Regions 2 & 4 tournament
