The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Holy Cross Indians (Covington, KY) and the visiting Gallatin County Wildcats (Warsaw, KY), saw Holy Cross's softball squad achieve victory over Gallatin County by a count of 9-1.

The Indians now sport a 9-9 record. They take the field next when they host St. Henry for a non-league match on Monday, May 8. Holy Cross will face a Crusaders squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Villa Madonna (Covington, KY). The Crusaders record now stands at 1-13.

With the loss, Gallatin County falls to 8-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Paris (Paris, KY) to face the Greyhounds in a non-league match on Saturday, May 6. The Greyhounds enter the match with a record of 5-16. Paris lost 15-14 in their recent non-league match against Holy Cross (Covington, KY)
