Connecticut High School Softball - New Milford gets by Immaculate

May 6, 2023: Danbury, CT 06810

The New Milford Green Wave nipped the host Immaculate Mustangs softball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's league battle.

The Green Wave (12-4) will now prepare for their battle against Pomperaug (Southbury, CT). The Panthers go into the Southwest - Patriot battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, Pomperaug held off Nonnewaug (Woodbury, CT), 11-5, in a non-league battle.

The Mustangs now possess a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to Bethel for a Southwest - Patriot battle on Monday, May 8. Immaculate will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 11-6 league win over New Fairfield (New Fairfield, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-8.
