In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Norwalk Truckers softball team scored a close 4-0 triumph over the Western Reserve Roughriders.

With the triumph, Norwalk moves its record to 2-9 on the year. The Truckers host Vermilion (Vermilion, OH) to play the Sailors in a non-league contest on Monday, May 15. The Sailors come into the contest with a record of 1-3.

In their next game, the Roughriders play the St. Paul Flyers (Norwalk, OH) in a Firelands contest, on Thursday, May 11. Western Reserve will attempt to move on its 3-14 season record.
