The Wheaton-Warrenville South Tigers (Wheaton, IL) softball the visiting Plainfield South Cougars (Plainfield, IL), 4-2 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Tigers (13-7) will now prepare for their bout against St. Charles East (St. Charles, IL). The Fighting Saints go into the DuKane bout with a 12-9 record. In their last bout, St. Charles East held off Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL), 8-1, in a league bout.
The Cougars now possess a 10-15 record. They play next when they host Romeoville for a Suburban Prairie - South bout on Monday, May 8. Plainfield South will confront a Spartans squad coming off a 16-1 league loss to Minooka (Minooka, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 3-14.
