Spectators at Monday's non-league battle between the Highland Fighting Scots (Marengo, OH) and the visiting Lincoln Golden Lions (Gahanna, OH), saw Highland's baseball squad edge Lincoln by a margin of 5-4.

Coming up next, the Fighting Scots play the Ontario Warriors (Ontario, OH) in a Mid Ohio Athletic battle, on Tuesday, May 7. Highland will attempt to better on its 20-2 season record. The Warriors enter the battle with a 7-4 record after their 8-7 non-league win over Ashland (Ashland, OH).
