Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Mercer loses to Lakeview

The Mercer Mustangs baseball team (Mercer, PA), was overwhelmed 7-3 in Monday's league outing with the visiting Lakeview Sailors (Stoneboro, PA)

The Sailors now hold a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Middlesex for a District 10 Region 1 outing on Wednesday, May 8. Lakeview will confront a Big Reds team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Cochranton (Cochranton, PA). The Big Reds record now stands at 6-8.

Next, the Mustangs confront the Sharpsville Blue Devils (Sharpsville, PA) in a District 10 Region 1 outing, on Wednesday, May 8. Mercer will attempt to advance on its 4-10 season record. The Blue Devils go into the outing with a 8-4 record after their 18-3 non-league win over Franklin (Franklin, PA).
