In Monday's league game, the visiting Little Falls Mounties baseball team scored a tight 7-2 victory over the Sherburne-Earlville Marauders.
The Mounties (6-11) will now prepare for their game against Clinton (Clinton, NY). The Comets go into the Section 3 Center State I game with a 7-4 record. In their last game, Clinton tipped Herkimer (Herkimer, NY), 3-2, in a league game.
The Marauders (1-11) will now prepare for their game against Adirondack (Boonville, NY). The Wildcats go into the Section 3 Center State I game with a 6-8 record. In their last game, Adirondack was overwhelmed by Carthage (Carthage, NY), 10-2, in a non-league game.
