Rappahannock Raiders (Warsaw, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Middlesex Chargers (Saluda, VA), 4-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Rappahannock upgrades its record to 14-3 on the season. The Raiders travel to Westmoreland (Montross, VA) to battle the Eagles in a Northern Neck test on Tuesday, May 7. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 2-12. Westmoreland lost 15-3 in their recent league test against Northumberland (Heathsville, VA)

With the defeat, Middlesex falls to 5-11 on the season. The Chargers host Mathews (Mathews, VA) to battle the Blue Devils in a Tidewater test on Thursday, May 9. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 10-8. Mathews won 11-2 in their recent league test against West Point (West Point, VA)
