The New Hartford Spartans baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Red Devils to 3 in the Spartans league victory on Monday.

The Spartans (12-3) will now prepare for their match against Whitesboro (Marcy, NY). The Warriors go into the Section 3 Tri-Valley match with a 6-5 record. In their last match, Whitesboro gained a win over Holland Patent (Holland Patent, NY), 8-4, in a league match.

The Red Devils (6-3) will now prepare for their match against Notre Dame (Utica, NY). The Jugglers go into the Section 3 Tri-Valley match with a 0-10 record. In their last match, Notre Dame was overwhelmed by West Canada Valley (Newport, NY), 13-0, in a non-league match.
