The West Bend West Spartans baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Port Washington Pirates to 1 in the Spartans league victory on Monday.
The Spartans (3-12) will now prepare for their match against Grafton (Grafton, WI). The Black Hawks go into the North Shore match with a 7-13 record. In their last match, Grafton was overwhelmed by Nicolet (Glendale, WI), 8-1, in a league match.
The Pirates (1-17) will now prepare for their match against Hartford (Hartford, WI). The Orioles go into the North Shore match with a 15-2 record. In their last match, Hartford edged Homestead (Mequon, WI), 4-1, in a league match.
