The Maine South Hawks volleyball team (Park Ridge, IL), was edged 2-1 in Monday's league challenge with the host New Trier Trevians (Winnetka, IL)

The Trevians (19-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Evanston (Evanston, IL). The Wildkits come into the Central Suburban South challenge with a 17-11 record. In their last challenge, Evanston nudged Deerfield (Deerfield, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Hawks encounter the Glenbrook South Titans (Glenview, IL) in a Central Suburban South challenge, on Wednesday, May 8. Maine South will attempt to move on its 14-14 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 25-5 record after their 2-0 league win over Glenbrook North (Northbrook, IL).
