In Monday's non-league test, the host Montclair Mounties lacrosse squad scored a good 17-8 victory over the Caldwell Chiefs.
The Mounties now have a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they host Montclair Kimberley Academy for a non-league test on Wednesday, May 8. Montclair will face a Cougars squad coming off a 15-10 non-league win over Verona (Verona, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 11-1.
In their next game, the Chiefs face the Livingston Lancers (Livingston, NJ) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, May 7. Caldwell will attempt to move on its 4-10 season record. The Lancers come into the test with a 8-4 record after their 20-6 non-league loss to Glen Ridge (Glen Ridge, NJ).
