In Monday's non-league test, the host Payton College Prep Grizzlies lacrosse squad scored a tight 13-9 victory over the Whitney Young Dolphins.

The Grizzlies now have a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lane Tech for a non-league test on Thursday, May 9. Payton College Prep will face a Champions squad coming off a 14-1 non-league win over Northside (Chicago, IL). The Champions record now stands at 10-7.

In their next game, the Dolphins face the Mother McAuley Mighty Macs (Chicago, IL) in a non-league test, on Friday, May 10. Whitney Young will attempt to move on its 3-7 season record. The Mighty Macs come into the test with a 8-8 record after their 17-0 non-league win over Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL).
