Next, the Vikings confront the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC) in a South Piedmont 3A challenge, on Wednesday, May 8. Central Cabarrus will attempt to move on its 13-3 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 15-3 record after their 4-0 league loss to Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC).

The Cougars now possess a 2-16 record. They take the field next when they host West Rowan for a South Piedmont 3A challenge on Tuesday, May 7. Carson will confront a Falcons team coming off a 5-1 league win over East Rowan (Salisbury, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 6-11.
