The Denver Cyclones soccer team scored 4 points and limited the host Columbus Sailors to 1 in the Cyclones league victory on Monday.
Next, the Cyclones face the Decorah-North Winneshiek Vikings (Decorah, IA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, May 9. Denver will attempt to better on its 21-2 season record. The Vikings enter the contest with a 3-16 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to North Fayette Valley (West Union, IA).
The Sailors now have a 7-12 record. They take the field next when they host Hudson for a North Iowa Cedar League contest on Tuesday, May 7. Columbus will face a Pirates team coming off a 6-1 league win over Gladbrook-Reinbeck (Reinbeck, IA). The Pirates record now stands at 21-3.
