Next, the Warriors confront the Decorah-North Winneshiek Vikings (Decorah, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, May 9. Wapsie Valley will attempt to better on its 13-1 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 3-16 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to North Fayette Valley (West Union, IA).

The Sailors now have a 7-12 record. They take the field next when they host Denver for a North Iowa Cedar League challenge on Monday, May 6. Columbus will confront a Cyclones team coming off a 6-1 league win over Gladbrook-Reinbeck (Reinbeck, IA). The Cyclones record now stands at 19-2.
