McCluer Comets (Florissant, MO) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Hazelwood East Spartans (St. Louis, MO), 5-3 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Comets confront the University City Lions (St. Louis, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, May 8. McCluer will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 4-14 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Festus (Festus, MO).

The Spartans now possess a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they host Lutheran North for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 7.
