St. Croix Falls Saints (St. Croix Falls, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Barron Golden Bears (Barron, WI), 12-0 in a league challenge.

The Saints now own a 11-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chetek-Weyerhaeuser for a Heart O'North challenge on Tuesday, May 7. St. Croix Falls will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 13-0 league loss to Hayward (Hayward, WI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-10.

With the loss, Barron falls to 10-5 on the campaign. The Golden bears host Ladysmith (Ladysmith, WI) to battle the Lumberjacks in a Heart O'North challenge on Tuesday, May 7. The Lumberjacks enter the challenge with a record of 2-16. Ladysmith 0-0 in their recent league challenge against Northwestern (Maple, WI)
