Mooresville Pioneers (Mooresville, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Bloomington North Cougars (Bloomington, IN), 13-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Pioneers now own a 18-3 record. They take the field next when they host Plainfield for a Mid-State challenge on Tuesday, May 7. Mooresville will battle a Quakers squad coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Cascade (Clayton, IN). The Quakers record now stands at 16-6.

With the loss, Bloomington North falls to 4-15 on the campaign. The Cougars host Southport (Indianapolis, IN) to battle the Cardinals in a Conference Indiana challenge on Tuesday, May 7. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a record of 4-13. Southport won 2-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Pike (Indianapolis, IN)
