The Oak Lawn Spartans softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Blue Island Eisenhower Cardinals to 0 in the Spartans league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Oak Lawn moves its record to 14-10 on the year. The Spartans host Shepard (Palos Heights, IL) to clash with the Astros in a South Suburban game on Wednesday, May 8. The Astros come into the game with a record of 15-6.

In their next game, the Cardinals clash with the Argo Argonauts (Summit, IL) in a South Suburban game, on Tuesday, May 7. Blue Island Eisenhower will attempt to move on its 5-15 season record.
