Kansas High School Softball - St. James Academy bounces Blue Valley North

The St. James Academy Thunder routed the visiting Blue Valley North Mustangs softball squad by a final score of 9-2 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Thunder (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against Basehor-Linwood (Basehor, KS). The Bobcats go into the non-league battle with a 15-4 record. In their last battle, Basehor-Linwood held off De Soto (De Soto, KS), 11-5, in a non-league battle.

The Mustangs now possess a 2-12 record. They play next when they host Shawnee Mission South for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 9. Blue Valley North will confront a Raiders squad coming off a 10-8 non-league loss to Mill Valley (Shawnee, KS). The Raiders record now stands at 2-13.
