The Bryan Station Defenders softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Henry Clay Blue Devils to 0 in the Defenders league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Bryan Station improves its record to 15-8 on the year. The Defenders travel to Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY) to clash with the Indians in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 7. The Indians come into the game with a record of 22-4. Montgomery County won 12-2 in their recent non-league game against Frederick Douglass (Lexington, KY)

In their next game, the Blue Devils clash with the Scott County Cardinals (Georgetown, KY) in a District 42 game, on Thursday, May 9. Henry Clay will attempt to improve on its 3-20 season record.
