Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Chequamegon Screaming Eagles (Park Falls, WI) and the visiting Drummond Lumberjacks (Drummond, WI), witnessed Chequamegon's softball squad tip Drummond by a count of 8-6.

The Screaming Eagles now sport a 10-5 record. They play next when they host Rib Lake for a Marawood - North match on Tuesday, May 7.

With the loss, Drummond moves to 1-4 on the season. The Lumberjacks host Washburn (Washburn, WI) to face the Castle Guards in a Northern Lights match on Thursday, May 9. The Castle Guards go into the match with a record of 0-0.
