Red Lion Lions (Red Lion, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Dallastown Wildcats (Dallastown, PA), 12-2 in a league challenge.

The Lions now own a 5-3 record.

With the loss, Dallastown falls to 6-10 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Ephrata (Ephrata, PA) to battle the Mountaineers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 7. The Mountaineers enter the challenge with a record of 11-7. Ephrata lost 18-3 in their recent league challenge against Elizabethtown (Elizabethtown, PA)
