Spectators at Monday's league match between the Richards Bulldogs (Oak Lawn, IL) and the visiting Evergreen Park Mustangs (Evergreen Park, IL), witnessed Richards's softball squad tip Evergreen Park by a count of 8-1.

The Bulldogs now sport a 14-7 record. They play next when they host Reavis for a South Suburban match on Tuesday, May 7. Richards will face a Rams squad coming off a 15-14 non-league win over Saint Ignatius College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Rams record now stands at 10-15.

With the loss, Evergreen Park moves to 11-12 on the season. The Mustangs host Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL) to face the Meteors in a SICA - Central match on Tuesday, May 7. The Meteors go into the match with a record of 5-17. Thornton Fractional North lost 16-0 in their recent league match against Lemont (Lemont, IL)
