Geneseo Blue Devils (Geneseo, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Lima Christian Saints (Lima, NY), 21-8 in a non-league challenge.

The Blue Devils now own a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Avon for a Livingston County Division 2 challenge on Wednesday, May 8. Geneseo will battle a Braves squad coming off a 6-0 league win over Le Roy (Le Roy, NY). The Braves record now stands at 9-3.

With the loss, Lima Christian falls to 0-11 on the campaign. The Saints travel to Young Women's College Prep (Rochester, NY) to battle the Griffins in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 7. The Griffins enter the challenge with a record of 0-4. Young Women's College Prep lost 25-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Aquinas Institute (Rochester, NY)
