Ipswich Tigers (Ipswich, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Rockport Vikings (Rockport, MA), 18-6 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 1-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Georgetown for a Cape Ann Baker challenge on Thursday, May 9.

With the loss, Rockport falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Vikings host Salem Academy Charter (Salem, MA) to face the Navigator in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 10. The Navigator enter the challenge with a record of 8-4.
