The Kennedy Knights (Paterson, NJ) softball routed the visiting Passaic Indians (Passaic, NJ), 23-18 in Monday's league bout.
The Knights (7-10) will now prepare for their bout against West Milford (West Milford, NJ). The Highlanders go into the non-league bout with a 10-8 record. In their last bout, West Milford was routed by Wayne Valley (Wayne, NJ), 10-4, in a league bout.
The Indians now possess a 5-12 record. They play next when they travel to Wayne Hills for a non-league bout on Wednesday, May 8. Passaic will confront a Patriots squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Becton (East Rutherford, NJ). The Patriots record now stands at 3-12.
