Spectators at Monday's league match between the Morris Redskins (Morris, IL) and the visiting Ottawa Pirates (Ottawa, IL), witnessed Morris's softball squad tip Ottawa by a count of 5-3.

The Redskins now sport a 15-9 record. They play next when they travel to Rochelle for a Interstate Eight match on Wednesday, May 8. Morris will face a Hubs squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Kaneland (Maple Park, IL). The Hubs record now stands at 4-14.
