The Rosemount Irish (Rosemount, MN) softball nipped the host Prior Lake Lakers (Prior Lake, MN), 4-3 in Monday's league bout.
The Irish (11-2) will now prepare for their bout against Tartan (Oakdale, MN). The Titans go into the non-league bout with a 12-3 record. In their last bout, Tartan held off South St. Paul (South St. Paul, MN), 12-1, in a league bout.
The Lakers now possess a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Eastview for a South Suburban Conference bout on Wednesday, May 8. Prior Lake will confront a Lightning squad coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to Hastings (Hastings, MN). The Lightning record now stands at 9-8.
