North Carolina High School Baseball - Ashley nips Broughton

The Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC) baseball got by the visiting Broughton Capitals (Raleigh, NC), 4-3 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

The Screaming Eagle now own a 21-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Apex Friendship for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 9. Ashley will clash with a Patriots team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Lumberton (Lumberton, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 22-6.

With the defeat, Broughton drops to 14-12 on the year.
