Virginia High School Baseball - Bath County nips Parry McCluer

In Tuesday's league game, the host Bath County Chargers baseball team scored a close 2-1 win over the Parry McCluer Fighting Blues.

The Chargers (4-8) will now prepare for their game against Pendleton County (Franklin, WV). The Wildcat go into the non-league game with a 8-14 record. In their last game, Pendleton County was tipped by Tygarts Valley (Mill Creek, WV), 5-0, in a league game.

Next, the Fighting Blues play the Altavista Colonels (Altavista, VA) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 12. Parry McCluer will attempt to improve on its 4-14 season record. The Colonels go into the game with a 12-5 record after their 5-2 league win over Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA).
