The Berea Pirates (Berea, KY) baseball trounced the visiting Somerset Christian Cougars (Somerset, KY), 9-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Pirates now own a 8-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Estill County for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 8. Berea will clash with a Engineers team coming off a 7-6 non-league win over Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY). The Engineers record now stands at 12-8.
With the defeat, Somerset Christian drops to 3-13 on the year. The Cougars host Casey County (Liberty, KY) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 9. The Rebels go into the challenge with a record of 8-17. Casey County lost 7-0 in their recent non-league game against Garrard County (Lancaster, KY)
