The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Beulah Miners (Beulah, ND) and the visiting Washburn/Wilton/Center-Stanton Cardinals (Washburn, ND), saw Beulah's baseball team beat Washburn/Wilton/Center-Stanton by a margin of 4-0.
The Miners (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Heart River co-op [Belfield/South Heart] (Belfield, ND). The Cougars enter the non-league battle with a 6-6 record. In their last battle, Heart River co-op [Belfield/South Heart] held off Shiloh Christian (Bismarck, ND), 8-2, in a league battle.
Next, the Cardinals face the Hazen Bison (Hazen, ND) in a Class B - Region VIII battle, on Thursday, May 8. Washburn/Wilton/Center-Stanton will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Bison enter the battle with a 6-5 record after their 11-1 league win over Hettinger/Scranton/New England (Hettinger, ND).
