The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the University Liggett Knights (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI) and the visiting Ecorse Raiders (Ecorse, MI), saw University Liggett's baseball team gain a win over Ecorse by a tally of 18-5.
The Knights (13-8) will now prepare for their battle against Northville (Northville, MI). The Mustangs enter the non-league battle with a 17-6 record. In their last battle, Northville prevailed over Canton (Canton, MI), 6-5, in a league battle.
Next, the Raiders face the Edison Academy Pioneers (Detroit, MI) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, May 8. Ecorse will attempt to upgrade on its 11-3 season record. The Pioneers enter the battle with a 13-7 record after their 21-1 non-league win over Canton Preparatory (Canton, MI).
