The Purdue Polytechnic Techies (Indianapolis, IN) baseball trounced the visiting Irvington Preparatory Academy (Indianapolis, IN), 14-2 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

The Techies now own a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Indianapolis Bishop Chatard for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 7. Purdue Polytechnic will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 7-4 league loss to Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory (Indianapolis, IN). The Trojans record now stands at 11-8.

With the defeat, Irvington Preparatory Academy drops to 12-4 on the year. The host Indianapolis Shortridge (Indianapolis, IN) to clash with the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 8. The Blue Devils go into the challenge with a record of 2-9. Indianapolis Shortridge lost 12-0 in their recent league challenge against Park Tudor (Indianapolis, IN)
