The Lunenburg Central Chargers baseball team scored 10 runs and held the host Prince Edward County Eagles to 0 in the Chargers league win on Tuesday.
The Chargers now own a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they host Randolph-Henry for a James River test on Thursday, May 8. Lunenburg Central will play a Statesmen team coming off a 9-1 league loss to Buckingham (Buckingham, VA). The Statesmen record now stands at 9-6.
With the defeat, Prince Edward County drops to 4-8 on the year. The Eagles travel to Amelia County (Amelia Court House, VA) to play the Raiders in a James River test on Thursday, May 8. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 2-6. Amelia County lost 12-0 in their recent non-league test against Goochland (Goochland, VA)
