The Orono Spartans baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host New Prague Trojans to 0 in the Spartans league win on Tuesday.
The Spartans now hold a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Francis for a non-league test on Wednesday, May 7. Orono will play a Fighting Saints team coming off a 2-0 league win over Cambridge-Isanti (Cambridge, MN). The Fighting Saints record now stands at 9-4.
With the defeat, New Prague moves to 5-6 on the season. The Trojans host Chanhassen (Chanhassen, MN) to confront the Storm in a non-league match on Thursday, May 8. The Storm come into the match with a record of 8-2. Chanhassen won 6-5 in their recent non-league match against Jefferson (Bloomington, MN)
