The Eagles now own a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they host DuPont Manual for a District 25 challenge on Wednesday, May 7. Portland Christian will clash with a Crimsons team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Bullitt East (Mt. Washington, KY). The Crimsons record now stands at 11-12.

With the defeat, Western drops to 3-6 on the year. The Warriors travel to Seneca (Louisville, KY) to clash with the Red Hawks in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 8. The Red Hawks go into the challenge with a record of 2-14. Seneca lost 9-4 in their recent league challenge against Waggener (Louisville, KY)
