Lane Tech Champions (Chicago, IL) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Taft Eagles (Chicago, IL), 2-0 in a league test.

With the win, Lane Tech improves its record to 11-4 on the season.

The Eagles now own a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fenwick for a non-league test on Wednesday, May 7. Taft will encounter a Friars squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL). The Friars record now stands at 0-2.
