In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Hillside Comets volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Pioneer Academy Eagles.
The Comets (4-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Westfield (Westfield, NJ). The Blue Devils enter the UCC - Mountain challenge with a 8-6 record. In their last challenge, Westfield was beaten by Oratory Prep (Summit, NJ), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles meet the Beloved Community Charter Owls (Jersey City, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, May 9. Pioneer Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Owls enter the challenge with a 0-13 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Dickinson (Jersey City, NJ).
