The North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC) soccer nipped the host Pender Patriots (Burgaw, NC), 1-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Scorpions now hold a 10-14 record.
With the loss, Pender moves to 6-12 on the year. The Patriots travel to South Columbus (Tabor City, NC) to encounter the Stallions in a Waccamaw 1A/2A challenge on Wednesday, May 7. The Stallions go into the challenge with a record of 10-8. South Columbus lost 7-1 in their recent league challenge against East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC)
