Virginia High School Baseball - Franklin County defeats Staunton River

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Franklin County Eagles (Rocky Mount, VA) and the host Staunton River Golden Eagles (Moneta, VA), saw Franklin County's baseball team beat Staunton River by a margin of 11-5.

The Eagles (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Liberty Christian (Lynchburg, VA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league battle with a 9-1 record. In their last battle, Liberty Christian held off Rustburg (Rustburg, VA), 8-3, in a non-league battle.
