The Niles Vikings baseball team scored 21 runs and held the host Plainwell Trojans to 2 in the Vikings non-league win on Tuesday.

The Vikings now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Dowagiac for a non-league test on Thursday, May 8. Niles will play a Chieftains team coming off a 17-4 non-league loss to Brandywine (Niles, MI). The Chieftains record now stands at 1-7.

With the defeat, Plainwell drops to 0-12 on the year. The Trojans travel to Vicksburg (Vicksburg, MI) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 13. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 0-1.
