The Woodlake Tigers baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Strathmore Spartans to 10 in the Tigers league win on Tuesday.

The Tigers now hold a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they host Farmersville for a non-league test on Thursday, May 8. Woodlake will play a Aztecs team coming off a 9-0 league loss to Orange Cove (Orange Cove, CA). The Aztecs record now stands at 0-7.

With the defeat, Strathmore drops to 1-7 on the year. The Spartans travel to Corcoran (Corcoran, CA) to play the Panthers in a test on Thursday, May 8. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 6-6. Corcoran lost 4-2 in their recent league test against Lindsay (Lindsay, CA)
