The Kennedy Crusaders edged the visiting Brooks Eagles softball squad by a count of 13-12 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Crusaders meet the De La Salle Meteors (Chicago, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, May 12. Kennedy will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Meteors enter the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 7-6 league loss to Saint Ignatius College Prep (Chicago, IL).
The Eagles (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Proviso East (Maywood, IL). The Pirates enter the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record.
