The Phoenix come into the test with a record of 1-6. Mecklenburg County won 1-0 in their recent league test against Halifax County (South Boston, VA)

The Bulldogs now have a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they host Halifax County for a Piedmont test on Friday, May 9. Martinsville will clash with a Comets team coming off a 3-2 league win over George Washington (Danville, VA). The Comets record now stands at 8-6.
