With the triumph, Clayton-Ridge advances its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Tripoli (Tripoli, IA) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league test on Monday, May 12. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 0-10.

The Pirates now have a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Charles City for a non-league test on Thursday, May 8. Postville will clash with a Comets team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Denver (Denver, IA). The Comets record now stands at 2-11.
